Well my God at many times in my life has not been who I would have liked Him to be!

Fortunately for me...it was a good thing He wasn't!

There have been many times in my life that I wished my God was a PROACTIVE God!

Please roll out the red carpet that you want me to walk on.  Tell what to do and when to do it.  Show me where to go and when.

But that isn't my God

There have been many times in my life that I wished my God was a REACTIVE God!

Oh mighty Jeanie in the sky please grant my every wish and desire.  When I want this...give it.  When I say this...do it.

Boy howdy...that isn't my God either.

What I have humbly found is that my God is an INTERACTIVE God!

He is my Father and I am his child.  We have a relationship.  I talk with Him in prayer.  He speaks to my heart through His Spirit and His Word.

He cares for me.  He rejoices with me!  He mourns with me!  He blesses me!  He disciplines me!  He is a loving, caring Father.

If it depended upon Adam or depended upon me...this relationship would not be possible.  Thankfully it depends upon Jesus.

His sacrifice and shed blood paid the price for our disobedience.  Thank you Jesus!

We now can have a personal relationship with a personal God who is interactive!
